U.S. Commercial Service Events: The USCS organizes hundreds of domestic and overseas trade events each year, and often complements them with related seminars, business match-making, and export counseling. It also maintains an excellent online event database, which you can search by topic, industry, and country. Well worth a look! California’s State Trade Expansion Program sponsors a variety of international trade shows, trade missions, and other export promotions. Priority sectors include: information & telecommunications technologies, green technologies, aerospace and defense, food and agricultural products, California lifestyle products, medical equipment, scientific instrumentation, transportation equipment, and industrial machinery. STEP is administered by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GOBiz).
